MOFFATT, GARY RONALD - The death of Gary Ronald Moffatt of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013. Born in Woodstock NB, he was the son of the late Ronald and Lorraine (Cormier) Moffatt and the husband of Hélène Moffatt. Gary was a Chartered Accountant in Fredericton for many years. He loved meeting and working with his many clients through the years. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family, either boating, trips to Montreal, taking his children to sporting activities or simply having a meal with all of his family. Gary was a devoted father and husband who will be sadly missed. Survived by his wife Hélène; sons, Shawn Moffatt of Ottawa, and Eric Moffatt of Fredericton, David Whittom (Audrey) of Quebec; one daughter, Christine Whittom of Fredericton; his siblings, Sharron Moffatt of Perth Andover, Clara Moffatt of Woodstock, Linda Moffatt of Perth Andover and David Moffatt of Woodstock; one grandchild, Zach Whittom as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his first wife, Alberte.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, August 4th, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm followed by the funeral service in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 3:00 pm. Archdeacon John Sharpe will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date.
