A committal service was held recently at St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Parrsboro, NS for Marilyn Alice Todd.
With sad hearts we mourn the passing of Marilyn Alice Todd (nee Henwood, formerly Colborne) age 65, on January 29, 2013 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Amherst. Marilyn was born in Parrsboro. She enjoyed bingo, music and the holidays, especially Christmas. She cherished her trips to Ontario to visit family. Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Kristine Sprayson (Jamie) and Theresa Armitage (Philip); step-daughter, Shawna; step-son, Shannon (Andrea); grandchildren, Madison, Meaghan, Keeley, Connor, Shane, Mikayla and Evrett, all living in Ontario. Her sisters, Christine Embree (Paul), Sackville, N.B., Carol Blue (Douglas), Dartmouth, N.S., Nova Henwood, Halifax, N.S. and Joyce Melanson (Jerry), Springhill, N.S. and by her brothers, John Henwood (Debbie), Parrsboro, N.S. and Robert Henwood (Helen), Parrsboro, N.S. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Todd, who passed away suddenly on January 20, 2013; her parents, Claude Maxwell and Abigail Evangeline “Eva” (Roberts) Henwood; two sisters, Irene and Margaret (Manning) and by her brother, Ronald.
