Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, on Friday, August 2, 2013, Sister Mary Eleanor Savage, age 89 years. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Eileen (Walsh) and her sister Eileen. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Joan and her brother John, her special nephew Sean, her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy and her other nieces and nephews. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s, from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday August 4 and from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Monday August 5. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road, with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
