BOURQUE, DORIS - 1918 - 2013 - Doris (Dolores) Bourque, passed away on Friday, August 2nd, 2013, at her residence, on her 95th birthday. Born in Baie-Ste-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Anathas and the late Albenie (née Richard) Poirier. She is survived by one daughter, Annette (Bernard Robichaud) of Moncton; one son, Ronald (Jane) of Shediac River; two sisters-in-law, Catherine of Escuminac and Irene of Ottawa; two grandchildren: Renée and Stephanie; five great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, René in 1992, one daughter, Marie; four sisters: Delvina, Adelia, Rose Marie and Alice; two brothers: Bruno and Anathas. Doris was well known in the community as a longtime member of the Beausejour Curling Club, winning several titles over the years and for her time spent at the once favorited Palace Grill. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She was a generous person giving to anyone who needed her. She loved the simple things in life and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving personality.
Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at 10 am with reception to follow. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
