A burial service for the late Jackie MacNeil, originally from Big Beach, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barra Parish Cemetery in Christmas Island. Jackie passed away on March 10, 2013, and a memorial service was held at that time in Dartmouth, N.S. A reception will follow in Big Beach.
