Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre, Rita Olive Collins at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her husband John Collins (2000). Left to mourn her stepchildren and their families. Next of Kin Sharon Bennett (Bill), son Billy. Also leaving to mourn two sisters: Jean Kettle and Millie Bird; brother Arthur; extended brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and all of the Kettle and Collins families; close friends Joan Maher and Jerry O’Keefe as well as her long time friends at the Legion Branch 36 of Mount Pearl. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
