In hospital, surrounded by and with the love of her family, after a battle with cancer, faced with incredible grace and courage on Monday, July 29th, 2013, at the age of 57 years. Proud, exceptional, and adored Momma of Lauren. Indescribably kind, loving, and wonderful wife of David. Predeceased by her parents: Cyril and Marie Taylor. Much loved sister of Colleen (Wayne) Faulkner, Mario (Susan) Taylor, Craig (Rosann) Taylor, Laurie Cantwell (Tim), Ken (Jennifer) Taylor and Brenda (Scott) Buckle. Cherished aunt of Mark, Mandy, Jason, Sarah, Samm, Jonathan, Danielle, Scott, Iain, Amanda, Claire, Angela, Alex, Laura, Victoria, Alexandra, Kieran, Brennan, Aidan, Justine, Drew and Shannon; great-aunt of Declan, Xander, Cole, Avery, Maëlle, Rupert, Eva, Lachlan, and Beatrix. She will also be greatly missed by the Jamieson family, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to Kim and Dave for everything, Dr. Edward Fitzgibbon for his kind and gentle care, the nursing staff at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus 5 East, Dr. Nancy Lazare for many years of care, and Dr. Shane O’Neill for his friendship and support. Born and raised in Stephenville, NL she was the eldest of her family, Dolores was blessed with the gift of being able to meet and make new friends easily – welcoming all into her life, and her home, creating many happy and fun-filled moments. Visitation and a service were held at Tubman Funeral Homes, Ottawa. A gathering for friends and family to share remembrances and stories will be held at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Thursday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 8th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Parish at 120 Mundy Pond Road followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at Blackmarsh and Topsail Roads. To reflect Dolores' personality, please wear bright colours - pink, orange, yellow, blue, green, white - and a heartfelt smile. For those wishing, a donation, in lieu of flowers, to the Dr. H.
