Velma Winnifred Currie (Wright)
December 15, 1925 – August 5, 2013
Velma passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert I. and son, Robert J. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Ron and Gordon (Margaret); grandchildren, great- grandchildren, brothers, sisters as well as nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Velma’s Life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E, Moose Jaw on Saturday August 10, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. In living memory of Velma, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
