Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Thursday, August 1, 2013, Mrs. Olive Bobbett, age 93 years, who resided at KM Homes in St. Alban’s, formerly of Pass Island. Leaving to mourn her loving family: son, Clyde and wife, Audrey; daughter in law, Ida Bobbett, all at Sandyville; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters in law, Olive Piercey and Eva Piercey, both at Fortune; plus a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Ralph; son, Kenneth; daughter, Winnie Lushman; son in law, Ralph; granddaughter, Darlene; plus other relatives.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 am from the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage-Sandyville with Rev. George Spencer officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
