Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, August 11, 2013, Mrs. Catherine Mary Howse, age 66 years of St. Alban’s. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, John; sons, Lawrence (Pam) at St. John’s, Glen at Oshawa, ON, Danny (Jill), David and Jason (Lori) all at St. Alban’s; daughters, Mary Glenda and Keith Collier, Elizabeth and Andy Drew, Nancy and Derrick Davis, all at St. Alban’s; seven grandchildren; sister, Effie and William Byrne; brother, Gerard and Winnie Benoit all at St. Alban’s; sisters in law, Sarah Benoit at St. Alban’s and Emma Benoit at St. John’s; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her daughter, Glenda Mary; father and mother, Lawrence & Elizabeth Benoit; brothers, Joseph and Anthony; sister in law, Nellie Northcotte Benoit.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 am from the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
