WHITTERS, MURRAY - Mr. Murray Whitters of Saint John passed away on August 14, 2013 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Hourihan) Whitters. Murray is survived by his sisters: Ann Sharp of Sussex Corner and Bonnie Huggard (Nev) of Sussex, three brothers: Fred Whitters (Diane) of Sussex, Frank Whitters (Therese) of St. Stephen and Ed Whitters (Dorie) of Sussex; as well as several nieces and nephews. Murray is predeceased by his brother John and by his sisters Mary Doyle and Theresa Connors.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday from 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at Wards Creek. There will be a reception with the family in the Church Hall immediately following the interment at Wards Creek Cemetery.
