It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olivera Bennett announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the age of 67 years. She will be sadly missed by her brother, James Bennett of St. George’s, four sisters: Helena (Bertram) Young of Kippens, Christina (Stanley) Joyce of Barachois Brook, Rosetta (Wilson) Coish of Trinity Bay, Florence Bennett of St. George’s and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Agnes. Special mention for Olivera’s “second family”, Wilfreda, Brenda, Francis Anne, Roxanne and Brenda. Friends may call at St. Joseph’s Chapel in St. George’s on Friday, August 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.
