Bonnie Burns, 67, of Mira Gut, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at the Halifax Infirmary, with her loving husband by her side.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Evelyn (MacKenzie) MacLeod.
Bonnie retired as an RN with the City of Sydney Hospital.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Laura, Vancouver; sisters, Pearl Goodman (Ray), Dartmouth, Carol (Sandy) Reynolds, Sydney; brothers, Kenneth (Carol), Truro, Duncan A. (Shirley), Halifax; a grandson, Chase Burns-Drover; several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was predeceased by a sister, Anita.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced next week.
