With heavy hearts, the family of Roy Newell MacDonald, age 86, of Murray Harbour, loving husband of Myrna (nee Hugh) MacDonald of 54 years, announce his passing on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greek River on March 31, 1927, he was a son of the late Newell and Annie (Leeco) MacDonald. Roy will be fondly remembered by his numerous cousins, and his many musical friends, that he touched over the years.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 3 p.m., from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. Visiting hours on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
