Wynn, Myrtle Irene 80, Truro, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro surrounded by her family. Born in Whittenburg, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Margaret (Archibald) Wynn. Myrtle worked in maintenance at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro for 27-years. She had a great love for all her family.
She is survived by her daughter Juanita Hamilton (Roger Bezanson) of Middle Stewiacke; grandchildren, Allisha, Shelina, Trista, Jeff; great-grandchildren Destiny, Jake, Amber, Jessica; sisters Beverly Kennedy of Brookfield, Vivian McLean (Arden) of Truro, Evelyn McNutt (Alden) of Onslow, Zelda Smith (Mike Pettipas) of Truro; brother Hughie Wynn (Diane) of Valley; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Neil Hamilton; brother Howard.
No visitation by family request. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 3 pm in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Rev. Larry Harrison will officiate with burial to follow in the Brookfield Eastside Cemetery, Brookfield. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Arthritis Society.
