Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, August 17, 2013, of Gladys MacGregor, of Mermaid, age 65 years.
Beloved wife of Daniel MacGregor and loving mother of Alonzo Blaisdell (Nancy), Allan McGuigan (Rose), Michelle Dyke (Trevor) and Rachel McGuigan (Stephen). Gladys is also survived by her grandchildren Bradley and Jacob Dyke, MacKenzie Palmer and Breanna Biso; brothers, Melvin Laybolt (Edna - deceased), James Laybolt (Linda), John Anthony Laybolt and Mike O’Brien; sisters, Sheila and Helen Laybolt and Carolyn Blaisdell (Wayne - deceased); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sheldon and Mary Alice (nee Trainor) Laybolt, and brother, Willard Laybolt.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Monday, August 19, 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Ryan Cemetery.
