The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, of Millicent Ann Silliker of O'Leary, age 93 years, wife of the late Lorne Silliker. Born in Carleton Lot 6 on May 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabel (nee Caseley) Crozier. Dear mother to the late Iva Sweet (Clair), O'Leary; Ada (Roy) Lidstone, Knutsford; Watson (Olive) Silliker, O'Leary; Myra (Danny) Bulger, Dunblane. Loving grandmother to Ruthie (Darrell) Ashley, Tracey Lidstone, Shelley (Gary) Saunders, Karla (Kyle) Fraser, Dawna (Trevor) Barlow, Wendy (Corey) MacLean, Tammy MacWilliams and Melissa Bulger and to 20 great-grandchildren. Millicent is also survived by sisters-in-law Hester Crozier, Charlottetown, and Iva MacDonald, O'Leary. Predeceased by husband Lorne (1994), parents, daughter Iva (2011), grandson Randy Lidstone (2001) and brother Elmo. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, in the Ferguson Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Springfield West Baptist Cemetery. In memory of Millicent, memorial donations to the O'Leary Community Health Foundation/Palliative Care Unit or Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
