Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, August 30, 2013, of William Irving “Billy” Pedersen of Tignish, age 71 years. Born on August 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Gunner and Dorothy (nee Costain) Pedersen of Kildare Cape. He is survived by his wife Betty (nee Barbour) Pedersen and loving father to Stacey (Brad) Davis of Oakville, Ont. Cherished grandfather to Shawn Tyler Davis. He is survived by brothers, Roy (Bernadette) of Tignish; Roger (Firma) of Canso N.S.; Kenny (Joan) of Burlington, Ont., and by a sister Elsie (Brian) Shea of St. Louis. He was predeceased by his son Shawn in 1987 and by a brother Glendon. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Arthur (Jean) Barbour of St. Felix and David (Joy) Barbour of Alberton.
