William A. ‘Bill’ Gouthro of Glace Bay passed away Sept. 7, 2013, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Reserve Mines, he was the son of the late William Joseph and Sarah Ann (Hill) Gouthro.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Steele); children, Paul, Oakville, Ont., Michele (Bob) Baillie, Sydney River, Liam (Trina), Glace Bay, Mary Pat (Murray) Kraus, Calgary, Alta.; grandchildren, Eric and Laura Gouthro, Maggie, Michael and William Gouthro, Lyle and Taryn Kraus; sister, Marilyn (Steve) Campbell.
Predeceased by brother, Elmer.
Donations in memory may be made to An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
