Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, surrounded by his loving family and friends, Rod Noseworthy, age 47 years. Predeceased by his grandparents: Fred and Alice Hussey, and Greg and Gertrude Walsh; as well as his Uncle Jim Fleet. Left to mourn Rod's passing yet celebrate his life are his pride and joy, sons: Brandon and Nicholas (mother Sherry); his loving partner and his rock Jenny Bowering-Samuelson; step-daughter Jessie Bowering; parents: Bill Noseworthy Sr. (Peggy Lewis), Judy Noseworthy (Ralph Howell); sister Debbie; brothers: Bill (Margo) and Randy (Nini); Uncle Melvin Hussey (Nina); Aunt Shirley Fleet; nieces: Lily Noseworthy, Willow Myers, and Keira Samuelson; nephews: Ryan Noseworthy, Nathan Abbott, and Carter Samuelson; cousins: Paula, Glenn and Derek Hussey, Jimmy and Jeff Fleet. Also leaving to cherish a lifetime of memories are his best friends: Keith and Karen Rees; Gus, Tony, Karen, Stephanie, and Carissa, and their families, and all other members of the Samuelson family; as well as a very large circle of extended family and friends - too numerous to mention. Rod will also be missed by his softball, hockey and dart buddies who were a constant source of support and friendship. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., and Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue, on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with cremation to follow. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
