FRANCIS, NORMA JANE (1933 – 2013) – Mrs. Norma J. Francis, 79 of St. George, also formerly of Grand Manan Island passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John. Norma was the daughter of the late Archie and Myrtle (Brinson) Trecartin of White Head Island. Norma is survived by three sons; Lowell Newman (Anna) Back Bay, NB, Freeman Newman (Wendy), London, ON and Allen Newman (Annette) Grand Manan Island, NB. Two sisters; Harriett Trecartin of White Head Island, NB and her twin sister Marion Fleet (Arthur) of Grand Harbour. Three grandchildren; Christina, Lowell Jr. and Alexandra, many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is also predeceased by her husband Albert Francis, her first husband Clifford E. Newman, two sisters; Florence and Emily, and one brother William (Billy).
Visiting will be held on Friday 6 to 9 PM at Ells Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place from the Community Life Church on Saturday September 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Rev. Jeff Benson officiating. The interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery. Norma’s family has requested that donations may be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Bobby’s Hospice or the donor’s choice.
