1933 - 2013

Maurie passed away at the Victoria Hospital on August 13, 2013. She was born in France on November 17, 1933. Maurie is survived by her children Monique (Eric) Ross; Michele (Gavin) Elkington and Jonathan Foster; her 5 grandchildren Anthony, Tannor, Shannon, Brenden and Matthew; her 3 great grandchildren Rhiley, Myla and Jordan and her special friend Marvin MacDonald. She was predeceased by her parents Marie and Marcel Zaffaroni and her sister Marcelle Zaffaroni. Maurie was a member of the Prince Albert Quilt Guild and the Horticultural Society. Her greatest passion was her garden and all her grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
