GAUDET, AQUILA - Aquila Gaudet, 92, of Cap-Pelé and formerly of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born February 24, 1921 in Barachois, he was the son of the late François and Jacqueline Gaudet. He is survived by his wife, Dorine née Boudreau; two children: Claude (Thérèse) of Grand-Barachois and Linda Foran of Québec; three grandchildren: Rémi, Christian, and Mathieu; a great-granddaughter, Adèle; his brothers and sisters: Marina Bourque (late Bernard) of Shédiac, Rita Leger (late Blair), Lorraine Caissie, Ulric (late Jeanne) and Merville all of Grand-Barachois. He is predeceased by two brothers and sisters: Léo, Edgar, Irène McFadden and Stella Doiron.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Sunday, September 15 from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri-de Barachois R.C. Church, 1356, Route 133 in Grand-Barachois, on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
