The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown on Sunday , Sept.15th, 2013 of John J Arsenault in his 68th year of Johnston’s River formerly of Wellington , P.E.I.. John was the son of the late William J. and Annie (Perry) Arsenault of Wellington. He is survived by his sisters :Eileen Bonson of Pennsylvania USA, Norma Arsenault of Stratford, Marie (Kenny) MacLellan of Indian River and Dorothy (Allison) Ross of Alexandra. Also surviving are his caregivers David and Leah Walker and their family of Johnston’s River, P.E.I.John was a loving uncle to Johnnie, Michelle, Kim, Jim and Mark of Pennsylvania, USA, Billy MacLellan of Indian River, Jodie, Jonathan, Danielle, Alex, and Stephanie Ross of Alexandra. He is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. John is also lovingly remembered by the following aunts and uncles, Evelyn Gallant of Oyster Bed Bridge, George and Nelda Arsenault, Philip and Josephine Arsenault, Johnnie Arsenault of Nail Pond , Betty Gallant of Tignish , Jean Firth of Charlottetown,Victor and Annie Arsenault of Victoria, P.E.I and Freddie and Lisa Arsenault of Ontario and many cousins.John was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Alphie and Dorothy Arsenault and his maternal grandparents Peter and Margaret Poirier and numerous aunts & uncles.Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home in Urbainville. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Sept 17th from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept.18th in the Immaculate Conception Church,Wellington at 11am. Interment in the church cemetery.If so desired, memorial contributions in John’s memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Cemetery or Prince Edward Home Palliative Care Unit.
