Died as a result of a tragic car accident on September 15, 2013 Donna McGrath, age 65 years. Predeceased by her parents: William and Serena Pike; sisters: Shirley Stimpson and June Skanes (Eric) and brother Boyd. Leaving to mourn her husband John W.; sons: Timothy (Andrea) and Andrew (Beth); grandchildren: Benjamin Michael and Anna Lynn; brothers: Roy Pike (Ruby), Bruce Pike (Ruth); sister-in-law Millie Green; brother-in-law Dr. Lynn McGrath (Melissa); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Gower Street United Church. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Canada, Newfoundland Chapter, and the Vera Perlin Society.
