Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Mrs. Stella Stoodley, age 64 years, of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, George B. Stoodley; daughters, Evelyn Edwards (Bruce Stacey) at Marystown, Kimberly Stoodley (Bruce Peters) and Sandra Bullen (Howard) both at Mose Ambrose; son, Dean (Joni) at Wreck Cove; grandchildren, Santana, Glenda, Kayla, Leo, Nicholas, William, Isaac and Lucas; great grandchildren, Christian, Colton, Raelee, Austin and Ashton; brothers, William Skinner (Sadie) at Alberta, Albert (Marie) at Port au Bras and Raymond (Charlene) at Harbour Breton; sisters, Alice Stacey (John Joe) at Fortune, Bessie Snook at Harbour Breton, Elsie Saunders (Calvin) at Springdale and Audrey Savoury (Bill) at Belleoram; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Julia Skinner; parents in law, George and Lucy Stoodley; sister, Alfreda; son in law, George; and nephew, Kevin Skinner.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 am from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Reverend Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
