BOURGEOIS, ALICE - 1922 - 2013 - Alice Bourgeois, 91, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, formerly of Albenie Street, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 25th, 2013, at her residence. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and the late Arzélie (née: LeBlanc) Gaudet. Mrs. Bourgeois was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe; she enjoyed music and dancing, and was especially proud of the accomplishments of her musical family. She was a passionate believer and an advocate of The Miraculous Medal. She is survived by her husband, Valerie J.; three daughters: Rose-Irene (Bernard) Cormier of Dieppe, Francine (Greg) Lund of McQuade and Pauline (Danny) Arsenault of Moncton; six sons: Romeo (Linda), Bernard (Irene) and Eugene (Kim), all three of Dieppe, Leonard (Linda), Francis and Zoel (Nicole), all three of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Elise Gaudet, formerly of Dieppe; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Claire and also by one brother, Wilfred.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Friday, September 27th, 2013 at 4: 30 pm. Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
