Mary loved her work in retail at Hudson Bay, Robert Simpsons and the Brick. Mary’s passion was travel, as Danny worked at Air Canada. The whole family had wonderful trips across Canada, United States, Hawaii and Mexico. But her favourite trips were the ones home to Cape Breton. The teapot was always on and gathering news from all the extended family in Cape Breton and beyond.
Mary’s positive attitude and courage throughout her illness was remarkable. She never complained to any of her family.
The family wishes to thank Danny for the loving care he provided Mary throughout her illness. He was truly there for her and that meant so much to her and all her family.
Mary’s wish was to be buried at home in Cape Breton.
