White, Brenda Joan – 61 of Bible Hill, passed away peacefully September 29, 2013 at The Halifax Infirmary Hospital, QE II. Brenda was born in Truro, September 3, 1952, daughter of the late William M. and Elsie M. (Graham) Tree. Brenda was a hair stylist for many years in Bible Hill. She also worked as a noon hour supervisor at Bible Hill Junior High School and hosted several foreign exchange students, especially “Ting” from Taiwan whom she remained close with. She was also active in St. David’s United Church, Bible Hill, and was a member of the UCW, helping with various Church functions. Brenda is survived by her sons, Doug Dean (Melanie), Bible Hill, and David, Upper Musquodoboit, and his daughters, Chelsey, Rebecca and Brianna; brothers, David, Gary, Frank, Brent, Tony, Jeff, Barry; sisters, Linda, Barb, Wilma and Anne and their families. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Sheldon and Cody. As with Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no funeral service to be held. Family members wish to invite the public to share in a time to remember Brenda from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 in St. David’s United Church Hall on Pictou Road in Bible Hill.
