It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Laura Moore on Oct. 1, 2013 at the MacGillvray Guest Home in Sydney.
Born in Georgetown, P.E.I, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Irving) MacDonald.
Laura liked to play darts at the Army Navy & Air Force. She was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan, and loved the Toronto Blue Jays. She never missed a game.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla (Dave) Reid, New Waterford; sister, Tean Westaway, New Glasgow; grandchildren Sonya (Grant), Roxanne (Steven) and Shannon (Steven) and great-grandchildren Parker, Paige, Nolan, Madison, Tyler, Brianna.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl Moore.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Laura's life will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500 with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.
