WOOD, SHARON - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Sharon Dianne Wood, age 70, of Joggins on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Sharon passed away peacefully at the Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in Joggins, NS, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (Langille) Trask. Survived by daughter Lisa Wood and companion Mike Gautreau of Moncton, N.B., granddaughter Amanda (Billy) Wood-Findlay Moncton, N.B., grandson Terry (Angie) A'Hearn of Halifax, N.S., a great grandson Tyshon Wood of Moncton, N.B., brother Gary Trask of Springhill, N.S., sisters Beverly Bennett of Hillsborough, N.B. Predeceased by brother Junior Trask of Amherst, N.S. Also by her common-law-spouse Hinson Steeves of Joggins, N.S.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert (902-251-2877). Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place in the River Hebert Cemetery on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 1 pm. Family and friends are all welcome to attend. Following the service all are welcome to gather at the family home in Joggins for a time of tea and fellowship.
