It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Great Great Grandfather and Brother, Mr. John Wesley Kendell of Milltown, age 92 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Nora; sons, Wilson and George; daughters, Josephine and Mildred; sons in law, Wilson and John; grandchildren, Elaine and John; brother, Wilson; and sister, Bessie. He leaves to mourn his loving family: children, Eric (Marjorie) at Milltown, Bessie at Port Aux Basques, Claude (Mildred) at St. Alban’s, Wesley (Margariete) at Milltown, John (Christine) at Port Aux Basques, Leo (Genevieve) at St. Alban’s, Gerald (Rose) at Fort McMurray; Sandra at Edmonton, Goldie (Terry) at Fort McMurray and Ken (Linda) at Edmonton; brother, Stanley (Gussie) at Milltown; thirty-one grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Remains rested at Spencer’s Funeral Home, St. Alban’s. Funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th at 2:00 pm from Christ Church in Milltown with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown.
