THIBODEAU, EMILE JOSEPH - (1925 - 2013) - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Emile Thibodeau, 88, of Richibouctou-Village, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Nicholas and late Alma (Maillet) Thibodeau. Before retiring, Emile was employed at the fertilizer plant in Saint John for many years. He also worked and fished at Cape Lumiere Coop. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 43 years; Teresa (Sullivan) Thibodeau, his special daughter; Janice Gautreau both of Richibouctou-Village, one granddaughter; Tina Marie Gagnon and four great grandchildren; Alyssa, Brandon, Jessica, Jenna, two sisters; Olive Nowlan (late Leonce), Marguerite Thibodeau both of Bouctouche, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Emile was predeceased by one grandson; Shawn Gautreau, one son-in-law; Simon Gautreau and two brothers; Germain and Alphonse (Joe).
Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
