Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Chancellor Park, on October 8th, 2013, Vivienne M. Kennedy, a retired nurse in her 94th year. Predeceased by her parents Robert A. and Genevieve C. Barton, brothers Kenneth and Garrod, sisters Christine and Sheila and special niece Ann Marie. Forever cherishing her loving and vibrant spirit are her family Patrick and Betty Lou; her adoring grandchildren: Christine, Elizabeth (Stephen), Patrick (Veronica) and Michael; five fun loving great-grandchildren: Saadeeyah, Kamal, Karim, Katherine and Matthew; brother-in-law Richard Kennedy; sister-in-law Patricia Stanley and many nieces and nephews in Canada, United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. Special thanks to Cathy O’Keefe, Rosemary Fahey and Roberta Kennedy Gillespie for their special care and support. Sincere thanks to the caring staff of Chancellor Park and the medical team at Eleven Elizabeth Family Practice. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd., St. John’s. Visitation on Thursday, October 11th, 2 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Her life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian burial from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road on Friday October 12th, 2013 at 10 a.m. with a private burial to follow. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Paul’s Parish, Family Aid Committee.
