GALLANT-LEBLANC, ALICE - Alice Gallant-LeBlanc, 90, wife of the late Edgar LeBlanc, of Shediac, passed away on Friday October 11th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC following a sudden illness. Born on June 14th, 1923 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late David and Celina (Fougère) Gallant. She is survived by her nine children: Leandre Gallant (Diane), Jeannette Bourque (Bernard), Ronnie Gallant, Linda Bourque, Yolande Woods (Glenn), Diane Basque (Paul-Émile), Betty Gallant (Claude), Donald LeBlanc (Claudette) and Terry LeBlanc (Annette); 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Alice was the last surviving member of her immediate family of 16.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Monday October 14th, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and 9:30am until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Tuesday October 15th, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
