Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, October 11, 2013, of Alfred Zeno O'Brien of Charlottetown, Veteran WW II, age 92 years. Beloved husband of Marie Rosabelle (nee Doucette). Son of the late Herbert and Mary (nee Gavin) O'Brien, Wellington. Survived by his children, Michael O'Brien, Charlottetown, Jean (Andrew) Louis, Ottawa, Louis (Betsy) O'Brien, York, Anne Arsenault, Charlottetown, Kevin (Ellie Reddin) O'Brien, Cornwall, Justin (Tiny) O'Brien, Charlottetown, and Mary O'Brien, Charlottetown. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, Nathan, Stephen, Christa, Patricia, Anthony, Marie, Maria, Veronica, Katrina, Rebecca, Myndi, Adriel, Andrew, Rachel, Ryan, Julia, and Glenda, 12 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Sr. Mary O'Brien CSJ, and Sr. Theresa O'Brien CSJ, St. Paul, MN, and Bernetta (John Archie) Rankin, Mabou and Antigonish, N.S., and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son John Gerard O'Brien, a sister, Sr. Rita O'Brien, CSJ, brothers, Camillus (Theresa) O'Brien, and Gerard (Lois) O'Brien, and nephew Stephen O'Brien. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
