N. Lloyd Noseworthy (a.k.a. Pouch Cove Elvis) Born March 7, 1941; died October 13, 2013. Lloyd died peacefully with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is loved and missed by his wife, Joan (Curran), of 39 years; his children and grandchildren: Karen, Gary, Jonathan and Mark Pritchett; Kevin and Diane Noseworthy; Angie, Jeremiah, William, Andrew and Eli Shea; Max, Angela, Kaden and Willow Noseworthy; and Elaine and Scott Nystrom; Great-Grandchildren Isaac and Mackenzie; and sisters Gwen Hudson, Beatrice Cross and Cheryl Taylor. He will also be missed by a large circle of relatives and friends.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Belle and Lloyd Noseworthy; and siblings Allan, Irene and Jean.
Visitation with the family will be held at Gambo Lion’s Club on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church at Gambo on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place.
No flowers by request. Donations can be made to the family, in trust, to purchase new furniture for the Palliative Care Unit at James Paton Memorial Hospital.
