Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2013, Mr. Water C. Smith of South River, aged 88 years. Predeceased by parents John and Blanche Smith (nee Reid), wife Eleanor Smith (nee Barnes); son Ronald (Helen) Smith; brother Warren Smith, step-brother Jack Reid; brother-in-law George Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn are his sons: Wayne (Glenys), Derek (Judy), Boyd (Janet), Keith (Denise); daughter Lorraine (Fred) Neil; sister Minnie Noseworthy; sister-in-law Monica Smith; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach on Sunday; 2 – 5 PM: 7 – 9 PM, Monday: 2 – 5 PM; 7 – 9 PM and Tuesday: 10 – 12 Noon. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Clarke’s Beach United Church and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarke’s Beach United Church Cemetery Fund.
