Paul McIver
At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, of Paul McIver of Middleton, aged 56 years.
Born in Summerside on May 25, 1957, Paul was a son of Margaret McIver-Hughes (nee McIsaac) and the late St. Clair McIver. Survived by his wife, Deborah McIver (nee Thomas), his mother, Margaret McIver-Hughes (nee McIsaac), and also his sons, Adam, Chad (Megan) and Luke (Hillary); granddaughter, Ella Grace McIver; brothers, James (Karen), Bernard (Rose Mary); Michael (Mary), David (Peggy Sue); sisters, Catherine (Patrick McSweeney), Patricia (Mike Gallant) and Jacqueline (Kenny Lawless); brothers-in-law, Barry (Nellie Thomas), Leslie (Kim Thomas) and Shane (Glenda Thomas); sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bobby Gallant) and Marlene (Ed MacLaren); mother-in-law, Martha Thomas Perry (nee Cherpak); step-father-in-law, Lester Perry. Predeceased by father, St. Clair; sister, Patricia Marie McIver; father-in-law, William “Marshall” Thomas; grandparents, Hugh John and Mary McIver and Joseph and Nolean McIssac (nee Praught), and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation at Kinkora Place, Kinkora, on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at Kinkora Place. Interment in the church cemetery.
