Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 14th, 2013, Mr. Alex Noseworthy of Tilton, age 68 years. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Irene, sister Margaret. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Shirley of 48 years; one son Curtis (Amanda); four brothers: Walter (Sadie), Joseph (Lawrie), Fred (Yvonne), Clarence (Winnie); two sisters: Irene (David Barron), Julia (Alex Parsons); brothers-in-law: Kenneth Smith Dec. (Olive), Francis Smith Dec. (Blanche) Winston Smith Dec. (Shirley); foster children: Jason Pike, Gary Allan and Jerome Kennedy and a large circle of other foster children. Father and mother-in-law John and Violet Smith Deceased, brother-in-law Allan, sisters-in-law Winnie and Ruby (Dec.); also a large circle of other relatives and friends, as well as his beloved dog Princess. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Funeral Service Friday, October 18th, at 2 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church Tilton, Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date. Visitation Wed. Oct. 16th, 10 - 12, 2 - 5, 7 - 9 p.m., Thurs. Oct. 17th, 10 - 12, 2 - 5, 7 - 9 p.m., Fri. Oct. 18th, 10 - 12 noon. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to the Alex Noseworthy Memorial Fund.
