Gloria Mae Williams, age 75, of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center.
Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Lucretia (Halfkenny) Lee.
Before she was married, Gloria worked in the Engineering Department of the Bell Telephone Co. in Montreal for seven and a half years.
Gloria is survived by her son, Darrell Shawn Williams of Amherst; and a half-sister Fay (Bill) Dunn of Toronto.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Dana Robert Williams in 1982.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst (667-8777). There will be no visitation or funeral service at Gloria's request. A graveside service will be held at the Amherst Cemetery on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10 am. All are welcome to attend.
