WEBB, DOUGLAS HAZEN - Mr. Douglas Hazen Webb "Doug" passed away peacefully at the Loch Lomond Villa ‘The Village, Maple House’ on Monday, October 21, 2013. Born in Jerusalem N.B., on April 25 1929, a son of the late Edward and Myrtle (MaGee) Webb. Doug was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, he served as an Air Force Firefighter. Doug was a retiree of Irving Pulp and Paper. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his younger years he played on the Jerusalem Baseball Team. Doug is survived by his son, Steven (Karen) Webb of Fort McMurray Alberta, daughter Crystal (Darrell) Armstrong of Rothesay, sister Irma (Everett) MacDonald of Saint John, five grandchildren: Jonathan Webb of Sarnia Ontario, Matthew Webb of Fort McMurray Alberta, Shanae Webb of Saint John, Madison and Michael Armstrong of Rothesay, as well as several nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his daughter Marion Webb, brothers Burpee, Malcolm, Edward, sister Grace Harquail and two infant brothers.
Resting at, Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB, E2M 2L3. Visitation will take place on October 24 2013 from 7 to9pm, a funeral service will be held from Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on October 25, 2013, at 1pm, interment will take place following the service at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Castle “Fallsview” Reception Center. Donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
