LEGER, DONAT - 85, of Forest Street, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Wednesday October 23rd, 2013 at his residence. Born on March 28th, 1928 in Trois Ruisseaux, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred Leger and Eva (Fagan) Leger. Prior to his retirement, he was a Fisherman and Fork Lift Opperator. He is survived by his daughter: Katherine “ Kathy” Leger Thorne (Donald) of Allison ON; one son: Michel Leger; one sister: Fernande LeBlanc(lte.Eddie) of Amherst; one brother: Alban F. Leger (Aurella) of Cap-Pelé; two grand-sons: Michael, Donald; three half-sisters: Auréa Nima (Donald) of St-André, Rhola Leger of Shediac, Joanne Leger of Amherst; two half -brothers: Nap Leger of Cap-Pelé, Alderic Leger of Shemoque;by his former wife: Maria(Bourque) Leger; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters: Jeanne-Eva, Florence; step-brothers and sisters: Florence, Ernest, Valerie, Freddy and Jean.
No visitation by request of the family. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Tuesday October 29th, 2013 at 10:30 am.
