With the thoughts of his family around him, the much loved and cherished husband of Mary Catherine (Dwyer) passed peacefully into the arms of his loving Father. He will be greatly missed by his children Andrew (Ji Min), Ann Pattemore (Reg), Scott and Jill Steinback (Scott). Poppy will also remain forever in the hearts of his doting grandchildren, Liam and Victoria, and not to forget, Erik, Nicole, Natasha , Taran, Sierra and great-grandchildren Presley and Nixon. John was pre-deceased by his mother Anne, father, Alexander and siblings Vera and Gordon. John was a devoted husband and father and he was also a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, and his association with the Catholic Church was a treasured part of his life. Good-bye Poppy. We love you.
