Mrs. Donna Keevill (nee: Morrow) passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the age of 70. Donna grew up in Moose Jaw where she married her school sweetheart, Keith. Their 50 year marriage saw Donna live coast to coast in support of her husband who was a pilot in the Canadian Air Force, first in Victoria, later in Bagotville and Saskatoon and then returning to her hometown of Moose Jaw. She loved people and enjoyed her jobs working at Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon and then later at Prairie Co-Ax in Moose Jaw. Donna dedicated her life to helping and caring for others. Her volunteer work at Province Place gave her great joy. She had a passion for sports, first as a participant as a young girl in Moose Jaw, and later as an avid supporter of the Moose Jaw Warriors. Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Predeceased by her father Clifford in 1985, sister Barbara in 1996 and mother Janet in 1998, Donna will be sadly missed by her husband Keith of Moose Jaw, her children, Brent of Moose Jaw, and Rhonda (Steve) Shaheen of Saskatoon; her grandchildren, Shae-Lynne Shaheen, Mark Shaheen, and Ashley Shaheen and her great-granddaughter Syrena. In keeping with Donna's wishes a Memorial Service will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca Street East, on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at 1;30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Donna will be laid to rest with her parents and sister at Prairie Memorial Columbarium in Moose Jaw. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so wish memorial donations may be made to Providence Place Foundation, 100 2nd Ave, N.E., Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 1B8. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Brown and all the Moose Jaw Palliative Home Care nurses for all the exceptional care and compassion they provided.
