CORMIER, ROGER- Roger Cormier, 64, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Friday November, 1st, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on January 27th, 1949 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of and Stella (LeBlanc) Cormier of Dieppe and the late Lionel Cormier. A lifelong fisherman Roger began his fishing with his father at the young age of 13. He was also an avid Montreal Canadians Fan. He will be sadly missed by his mother; his wife of 45 years: Gisele (Gaudet); three children: Mario (Monique) and Marc (Donna) of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Sylvie Cormier (Guy Gallant) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters: Ella Wagner (Berry) of Moncton , Marie Boudreau of Shediac; three brothers: Ola (Jeanette) of Grand-Barachois and Legis (Huberte) of Dieppe, Jean-Paul Melanson (Brenda) of Grand-Barachois; six grandchildren: Josie, Ghislain, Patrick, Danie, Karine and Cedric; a sister in law: Anne-Marie Cormier of Shediac as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and by a brother Ovide ‘’Bibi’’ on November 1st 2008.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Frenette Funeral Center (506 577-3297). At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday November, 6th 2013 at 10:30 am. Inurnment will be in new interior Columbarium in the Frenette Funeral Center, Cap-Pelé.
