Passed peacefully away at her home in Placentia on November 1, 2013 in the presence of her loving family -Angela Byrd Pomroy (need Barnett)formerly of Merasheen, P. Bay, Age 91 years. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Mary (Ennis) Barnett. Her foster parents James & Mary (McCue) Rodgers (Isle au Valen) P. Bay), husband William Byrd (1969), twin boys William and Patrick (1952), husband Patrick Pomroy (2009), brothers James, John & Bill Barnett, sisters Nellie Pomroy and Mary Coffey, a large number of sisters in law and brothers in law, step-son Gabe Pomroy, step-daughter in law Rose Dray Pomroy. Left to mourn her loving children Joe(Diane)Byrd, Madonna (Dominic) Fitzgerald, Christine (Kevin) King, Hilda Byrde, Angela (Majed)Khraishi, Bernadette (Wade)Bowers, also her step-children Vince Pomroy, Rod (Mathilda) Pomroy, Theresa (Tom) Leonard, Viola (Art) Pink, Madonna Pomroy with whom she resided, Gerard (Rita)Pomroy, Angela (Gary) Hodgkinson, sister in law Ellen (Ryan) Barnett, Sr. Nellie Pomroy, Fr. Bill Pomroy,Kevin (Betty) Pomroy, Leona (Bill Jarvis), special step daughter in law Rose Snow Pomroy, special niece Marion Griffiths, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday from 7:00- 9:00, Sunday and Monday from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00, Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Placentia.
