Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Mr. Cecil Llewelyn Greenland of Coley’s Point, aged 107 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Emma Greenland (nee Sparkes), wife Grace Greenland (nee Ryan), son Norman, brothers: Jim (Annie), Art (Irene), George (Sadie), Ike (Marion); son-in-law Roy Sparkes. Leaving to mourn his daughters: Lillian (Canon Wilson Tibbo), Ada Sparkes, Elizabeth (Don) Smith, Linda (Edwin) Holmes; daughter-in-law Maureen Greenland; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with visitation on Wednesday: 2 - 4 p.m.: 7 - 9 p.m.: Thursday: 10 - 12 noon Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John Evangelist Anglican Church and Cemetery, Coley’s Point.
