The death occurred peacefully with her son by her side at the Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley, on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, of Doris Marie (Arsenault) Curley, wife of the late Desmond Curley of Urbainville at the age of 82. Doris was born in Urbainville on January 13, 1931, daughter of the late Augustin and Madeleine Arsenault. Beloved mother to Charles Curley of Charlottetown, she is survived by her sisters Delphine (late Lofbin) Landry, Montreal; Freda (Jack) Kelly, Pointe-Claire, Que.; Norma (Paul) McNamara, Delta, BC; Leona (Allan) MacDonald, Sherbrooke, P.E.I.; and her brothers Edgar (Kay) Arsenault, Summerside; Gerard Arsenault, Wellington; and brother-in-law Frank (Carol) Curley, Wellington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was also predeceased by sisters Julia (late Ted) Gallant, Lucie (late Stanley) Arsenault, Loretta (late Robert) Pilotte and brother Tilmon (late Eleanor) Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday, Nov. 9, then to the St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. until the funeral. Memorial donations made in Doris’s memory to the Stewart Memorial Hospital or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
