HAGMAN- It is with great sadness that the family of Grace Irene Hagman (Anderson) announces her passing on Nov. 7 at the age of 84. Music was always her greatest passion. Grace played her guitar and sang with different bands throughout the years. She was also a proud member of the Old Time Fiddlers. Grace loved being outdoors. Sitting on a swing in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers brought her happiness. Whenever a butterfly lander near her, Grace felt that it was the spirit of a departed family member or friend coming to visit. Mom spoke often about her years as a teacher and the students she taught in Donnley, Herbert, Rush Lake, and various other schools. Her graduating class from Herbert still gathers for reunions every year and she was always so excited to visit with the. Grace is survived by her children: Karen (Joe) Zimbowski, Harley (Susan) Hagman, Mark Hagman, Lana (Wade) Obst, as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Siblings: Lorraine Krueger and Lorne Anderson. She is predeceased by her husband Elwood Hagman, Parents Ralph and Mary Anderson and Brothers Roy, Vernon and Melvin Anderson. There will not be a funeral service as per Graces wishes. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
